Preamble to our Statutes (Articles of Association):

In the firm conviction that access to (especially higher) education is the safest way to overcome poverty and discrimination towards participation and integration, the association has founded "Akademische Patenschaften" in order to materially support state or state-recognized educational institutions abroad that improve the chances of young, needy people of discriminated / excluded ethnic minorities from structurally weak regions to receive regular school / university / vocational training.

To achieve this ideal, the connection between art, culture and education should play a central role by primarily making appropriate artistic, cultural-musical and pedagogical-didactic offers to domestic elementary and secondary schools. The resulting support for the association ultimately leads to overtaking academic sponsorships for the relevant educational institutions abroad - as described above.

The association opposes any negative discrimination based on origin, skin color, gender, religion, sexual orientation, age, field of study or profession, both internally and externally. The association itself does not profess any particular religion, but it is strongly oriented towards the values of a humanistic image of man.
